Most of you would now be aware of the KONY 2012 video that has gone viral over the past few days. If not, basically this video is a heartwarming plea to the world help catch the evil Joseph Kony-a leader of a rebel group in Uganda who, over the past 26 years, have abducted thousands of children from Uganda and either killing them or forcing them to become sex slaves or child soldiers. Every second of Every day, these children and their families live with the gut-renching fear of being a victim of Joseph Kony and his rebel army and thus must do everything they can to hide and seek somewhat 'safer' places.
At first i had no idea what all this hype was about-why was everyone suddenly posting and sharing links about this 'Kony 2012'. But after watching this inspirational video, I have a desire to help and support the makers of this 29 minute video Invisible Children, by helping them spread awareness of this sickening event that is happening every single day and causing thousands of innocent people to suffer.
so please, please, PLEASEEE watch this video. Yes, before i watched it my lazy self wasn't sure if i could get through an almost 30 minuet video, but as soon as i clicked 'play', i couldn't take my eyes of the video as i was suddenly being filled with emotions of sadness, disgust and most importantly determination to help support the capture of Joseph Kony.
